Team Formation: Structural Associates (SA) strives to construct the highest quality environments with the most value enhancing resources available.  Joining the Client, Architect, Engineers, and Interior Designer, Structural Associates assumes a strong role in the development and ultimate achievement of each project’s goals. Based on these goals, SA’s Partners assemble a project-specific construction team including a dedicated Field Superintendent who works in tandem with a Project Manager and who is supported with a properly sized field crew and office staff.  The SA Field Superintendent is committed to the project from start to finish, including the initial estimating and final punch list phases.  The SA Team then negotiates with and ultimately selects pre-qualified trade partners from our established network to round out the project team.

Management: No matter what the project’s size is, each step of the agreed to plan is detailed, budgeted, scheduled, and then executed and measured to ensure adherence.  It is only through this detailed process that all parties can verify the scope and costs of the project and thereby align expectations.  The detailed analysis at the project’s inception also surfaces critical cost factors that can then by modified as needed, well before they impact the project’s schedule.

Communication: Structural Associates believes that clear and constant communication across the entire team is best means of achieving success.  SA respects the critical role of the design team and partners with them to make their design intentions come to life.  SA understands the many decisions to be made and alleviates the pressures through staged decision schedules, formalized requests for information, and sample mock-ups.  Schedules and budgets are updated throughout the project as necessary and any variances are explained in detail at regularly scheduled project update meetings.
