* Carpenters

* Project Manager

We are seeking a experienced individual for a Project Manager position. Construction management degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of broad experience as project manager in high end residential construction, understanding of building science, and ideally has field experience. Must be highly self-motivated, and extremely organized (ability to prioritize and manage resources & time), as well as computer expertise in MS Office and Project as well as AIA forms and contracts. Can work individually as well as in a group situation. Has sound and diverse knowledge of construction principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields. Must be able to read construction documents, perform take-offs, and provide technically accurate feedback and review. Position requires great written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, staff, subcontractors, and vendors. This is a long term position with advancement opportunities for an individual who displays leadership qualities.

 

Successful candidate will provide support for project team and perform routine daily activities as (but not limited to):

  • Prepare, review and distribute RFIs, ASI’s, weekly reports, etc.
  • Maintain job files and as-builts
  • Develop and maintain schedule with Superintendent input
  • Maintain thorough understanding of contract and subcontractor documents
  • Prepare meeting minutes for all job meetings
  • Complete time cards, purchase orders, daily job reports, etc.
  • Weekly project photos
  • Manage project closeout
  • Ability to take direction and meet deadlines

* Project Superintendents

We are seeking an experienced individual for a Project Superintendent position. Construction management degree preferred with a minimum of 10+ years of broad field experience as Superintendent in high-end residential field. Must be highly self-motivated, and extremely organized (ability to prioritize and manage resources & time), understand building sciences, understand and use of AIA forms and contracts as well as computer expertise in MS Office and MS Project. CAD skills a plus. Can work individually as well as in a group situation. Has sound and diverse knowledge of construction principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields. Must be able to read construction documents, perform take-offs, and provide technically accurate review and feedback. Position requires great written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, staff, subcontractors, and vendors. This is a long term position with advancement opportunities for an individual who displays leadership qualities.

 

Successful candidate will provide support for project team and perform routine daily activities as (but not limited to):

  • Subcontractor selection, scheduling, training, and oversight
  • Budget estimating, material take-offs, and labor take-offs
  • Construction site management, jobsite safety, project security and site clean-up
  • Work with Project Manager in the creation, understanding, and maintenance of the:
    • Project schedule
    • Project budget
    • Change orders
    • Subcontract agreements
    • Prepare daily reports, maintain on-site files, site photos, and organization
  • Review and manage employee time cards, equipment, and tool management
  • Manage site personnel, hiring, reviews, discipline, and termination
  • Ability to take direction, provide leadership to the crew, and meet deadlines
